Yealmpton Show
The Yealmpton Show is a well attended local Agricultural show, held annually for over 125 years in the beautiful Devon countryside.
I have exhibited at the Yealmpton Show a number of times and on each occasion have won First Prize for the Best Stand in the Show.
BESPOKE SUMMERHOUSE – 2013
This is a granite and slate garden pavilion which when exhibited at the Yealmpton Agricultural show, won the best overall exhibit of the show. The vertical granite pillars are reclaimed as well as the granite surrounding the flooring which has been constructed using over 4,500 hand cut slates arranged in a chequer board design. The roof slates are individually cut replicating a Georgian fish scale shape. The approximate dimensions are 2.5m x 2m and the height can be adjusted to suit as the pillars are 2.7m and are set into the ground to a suitable depth.
